She Said began as a plea for help. Women were reaching out to LaToshia Norwood for mentorship, guidance, and clarity on how to build something that could last. What was meant to be a dinner for 20 women grew to nearly 200 in less than three weeks. That night revealed what so many were missing, community, strategy, and real support.
From that one gathering, the She Said Foundation was born. It exists to help women start, grow, and scale sustainable businesses through practical education and access to opportunity. Its signature event, the She Said Conference, brings women together for hands-on Learning Labs, sessions led by industry experts, and programming designed to move ideas into execution. Today, the Foundation continues to meet women where they are, giving them the strategy, structure, and confidence to lead with purpose and create lasting impact.
